Anton Paar Korea regularly supports two children’s homes in the region. Colleagues contribute in different ways: they offer volunteer English lessons, spend time with the children, and provide practical support whenever needed.

Hands-on support during the move
Recently, one of the children’s homes had to relocate because the previous facility was no longer suitable. For the Anton Paar Korea team, that meant rolling up their sleeves. Boxes and furniture were carried, unpacked, and assembled at the new location.

The summer temperatures of around 40 °C (104 °F) added another challenge. Despite the heat, the work progressed quickly – and when it came to assembling the furniture, a few previously undiscovered practical talents also came to light.

Different forms of engagement
The move is just one part of Anton Paar Korea’s activities. Colleagues also regularly support the two facilities by offering volunteer English lessons and spending time with the children.

These activities also give colleagues the opportunity to contribute outside their usual responsibilities and gain new experiences as a team. In this way, supporting the children also helps strengthen connections within the team.
