Project Offline

Regular employment provides meaning

Re-entering working life with an addiction can be difficult. Self-confidence and social contact are especially helpful in this process. With an accessible program, participants can work in one of the project’s workshops and thus return to regular employment. In addition, the project is involved in prevention: information evenings for parents raise awareness about risks and support for children and adolescents. During work, participants have access to social-educational support to provide quick help in acute situations. The project has now been running for over 20 years.

After its successful implementation in Styria, a sister project was also launched in Carinthia in 2025.

Project goal and participation

A project of the charitable Santner Private Foundation

The owner of Anton Paar Group AG, the non-profit Santner Private Foundation, finances the Offline project. It is carried out by Caritas.

Offline Carinthia

In 2025, a second Offline project was opened in Carinthia. Here, people find meaningful employment in a local facility.

Offline Styria

For more than 20 years, the Offline project has been supporting people with addictions. Through its employment opportunities, the project aims to provide support in dealing with current conditions and also contribute to prevention.

Accessible approach

The program is designed to make access as easy as possible for the target group. It also reaches out to people who are otherwise hard to reach.

Offline Retail

Products made in the workshops (furniture, clothing, and much more) can be purchased at the Offline retail shop in Sporgasse, Graz.

Support program

During participation in the project, social-educational support is available. This allows current concerns to be addressed quickly and easily.
