Recap: Lange Nacht der Forschung 2026 at Anton Paar

On April 24, 2026, Anton Paar opened its doors as part of Austria’s nationwide
“Lange Nacht der Forschung,” welcoming 1,150 visitors.

Between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., many interested guests took the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Anton Paar. Under the motto “Participate. Be amazed. Discover.” visitors enjoyed a diverse program featuring interactive stations, exciting experiments, and insights into research and development. The goal was to make science and innovation accessible and tangible for a broad audience – and this goal was successfully achieved.

A wide variety of programs
The hands-on stations were especially popular: whether analyzing beverages, watching demonstrations on density and concentration measurement, or trying out interactive applications of modern measurement technology – visitors were able to get actively involved and experience science up close. The skills.lab Cube proved to be a major draw, particularly for children and teenagers who love soccer.

Guided tours through the Technology Center, the RTC (Regional Technical Center), and the in-house brewery were also very well received, offering fascinating insights into the various areas of research and development at Anton Paar. Many guests also took the opportunity to talk directly with employees, gaining a better understanding of everyday work at the company and potential career paths.

Younger visitors had plenty to explore at the kids’ station, where they could experiment in a playful way and gain their first exposure to scientific topics. In addition, apprentices presented their training programs and showcased practical projects – a great opportunity to learn more about apprenticeships at Anton Paar.

Positive Feedback
The many positive responses, the high number of visitors, and above all the strong commitment of the employees made the “Lange Nacht der Forschung” 2026 at Anton Paar a thoroughly successful event.
