Starting in autumn 2026, the Anton Paar GmbH, a subsidiary of the Anton Paar Group AG, will offer two additional apprenticeships: office administration combined with cleaning technology (dual apprenticeship) as well as metal technician with a focus on welding technology. This brings the total number of apprenticeships offered within the Anton Paar Group to 13 – an important step towards targeted skills development. The application period for the start of training in fall 2026 has already begun.

 
Focus on joining technology
The apprenticeship in metal technology/machining technology has a long tradition at Anton Paar. Starting in fall 2026, a new training path will expand the range of options in mechanical production: metal technicians specializing in welding technology work with a wide variety of metals and join them permanently, either by hand or with machines. This involves surface preparation, the use of different welding techniques, and quality control of finished joints. In addition, knowledge of technical drawing, corrosion protection and safety standards are taught.
‘In recent years, we have made targeted investments in new technologies in the field of joining,’ explains Robert Novak, Manager Production Mechanics Joining at Anton Paar GmbH. ‘With the new apprenticeship programme, we can now train young people specifically in this field and further strengthen our expertise in joining technologies.’

 
Office meets cleaning technology
The combined apprenticeship in office administration and cleaning technology provides both commercial and hands-on training. In the office, apprentices learn how to prepare quotations, schedule employee assignments and communicate with customers. At the same time, they gain technical knowledge about modern cleaning processes, surface treatment, and sustainability concepts. This dual apprenticeship promotes organizational talent as well as practical implementation skills – a versatile combination with a promising future.
