Opening in 2026
As of January 1, 2026, the Anton Paar GmbH – the B2B measurement technology company within the Anton Paar Group – will be represented in Chile with its own subsidiary, expanding the company’s international sales network to a total of 40 subsidiaries worldwide.
Anton Paar Chile, headquartered in Santiago de Chile, will be responsible for sales, service, and support in the Chilean market. Santiago, with a population of around seven million, is not only the country’s capital but also its economic center. With this new location, Anton Paar will operate five subsidiaries in South America and eight in the The AMERICAS region as of 2026.

 
Strengthening the regional presence
Yerko Tobar has been appointed General Manager of Anton Paar Chile. He previously worked as a product manager for Anton Paar products and, in recent years, led Anton Paar’s previous distribution partner in Chile. “I’m very pleased to lead the development of our new subsidiary together with a motivated team,” says Yerko Tobar. “Being close to the market is essential to respond quickly and effectively to our customers’ needs.”

 
With this new subsidiary, Anton Paar continues to strengthen its customer relationships in South America and expand its long-term presence in the region.
