Employee Accounting (f/m/d)

In your role as an employee (m/f/d) in the accounting department of Anton Paar Group AG, you will support operational accounting and handle all accounting processes. You will be responsible for reporting and analysing the financial data of our direct group companies. You will ensure high data quality and compliance with group accounting standards. Furthermore, you will contribute your expertise to project-specific accounting topics.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing accounting for group companies
  • After appropriate training: Accounting for group companies, including preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • First point of contact for the Group companies under their responsibility
  • Support with annual budget preparation
  • Handling financial and tax law issues in teamwork
  • Collaboration on project-specific accounting issues and special tasks

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training (e.g. HAK) or higher commercial education (university/technical college with a focus on accounting)
  • Specialist professional experience is an advantage
  • Preferably completed accountant and balance sheet accountant certification
  • Knowledge of income and sales tax law
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, experience with SAP FI/CO is an advantage
  • Confident communication skills in written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to familiarise with new topics
  • Solution-oriented, independent and structured way of working

This position is based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications; for the advertised role, it usually ranges between € 3,200 and € 3,500 gross per month (excluding overtime).
