We strive to give our employees the opportunity to develop personally and professionally within the company. At our Anton Paar Academy, trainings can be completed in various areas, such as product and safety training, soft skills or sales training, as well as language courses. In addition, individual further education programs at external institutions are also supported. The Anton Paar Speakers’ Club provides a setting to develop skills in public speaking, communication, and leadership through regular practice and constructive feedback.

Anton Paar has always combined craftsmanship and precision with technological progress. Many key production steps are carried out in-house, supported by modern machinery and more than 100 years of experience.
At the same time, innovation is firmly anchored in the corporate culture. Around 14.5 percent of revenue is regularly invested in research and development. Organizational processes are also continuously reviewed and improved. This requires employees who are curious and want to actively shape change.
Health promotion
The health of our employees is of great importance at the Anton Paar Group. With the specially created initiative “Anton Paar in Motion,” we clearly affirm the relevance of physical activity and mental balance in everyday work. At the company site in Graz, regular fitness programs are offered, complemented by joint excursions and creative activities. In addition, company-based psychological counseling is available at the Graz site.
Independence of the company
In contrast to many other companies of similar size in our industry, Anton Paar is not listed on the stock exchange. The company is owned by the non-profit Santner Private Foundation. The purpose of this foundation is to promote non-profit science and research in the fields of natural sciences and technology, as well as to support drug addiction prevention and people with a history of addiction. According to the foundation’s charter, the majority of profits remain in the company to secure its long-term development. Distributions to the foundation are intended exclusively for the charitable purposes mentioned. The founding family does not receive any financial benefits from the foundation.
This ownership structure makes Anton Paar independent of shareholder interests. It allows the company a high degree of entrepreneurial freedom and long-term planning.
Strong roots and global connections
The history of our company begins in Graz, the capital of Styria in Austria. Our headquarters are still located there today, with around 1,400 employees working on site. Worldwide, the Anton Paar Group employs around 4,600 people.
Working with people from different cultures and regions broadens our perspectives and shapes the way we work. We regularly welcome colleagues from all over the world to our headquarters in Graz – to work together on projects, exchange knowledge, and take part in internal company events.
