Anton Paar Learning Café Gries

A place for anyone eager to learn together and looking for support with homework or preparation for school tests. Through targeted learning support, children strengthen their self-confidence, discover their abilities, and experience community. The charitable Santner Private Foundation, owner of Anton Paar Group AG, supports the Caritas Learning Café in Dreihackengasse in Graz.

Project goal and participation

Project goal

Young visitors receive free support with learning and doing their homework. The Learning Café is also a place to make friends. By practicing, playing, celebrating, and making music together, the children learn with and from each other and benefit from the diversity of cultures. The program is aimed at children aged 6 to 15.

Afternoon care

The support service is available at the Learning Café Gries from Monday to Thursday from
12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Healthy Snacks

The children receive a healthy snack at the café to give them energy for completing their tasks.

Opportunities through volunteering

Full-time staff and volunteers look after the children and help them with their learning.

Since 2007

The Learning Cafés have been offering support in Austria for almost 20 years. The first learning café opened in Graz in 2007: it was the location in Gries. Support is therefore already a tradition here.
