Accessibility Statement
Anton Paar Group AG is commited to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz (WZG BGBl. I. Nr. 59/2019 idgF).
This accessibility statement applies to the website anton-paar.group.
Compliance status
This website is currently partly compliant with Conformance Level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
a. Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- PDF and other Office documents: Many PDF and Office documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, meaning that screen reader users cannot access and use them, or can only do so to a limited extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met. Please let us know if you have difficulties with specific documents. Upon request, we will make the content accessible and replace the documents or supplement them with accessible alternatives.
- Interactive graphics are integrated into individual pages (HTML 5 Canvas and SVGs). These cannot be accessed by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criteria 1.4.4 (text scalability), 1.4.5 (text instead of images) and 4.1.2 (name, role, value) are not met.
- Missing alternative texts for older images
- Insufficient colour contrast in certain areas
- Isolated problems with keyboard navigation
b. Disproportionate burden
- Videos (recorded audio description): We are unable to provide the required audio descriptions for the videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (recorded audio description) is not met. We believe that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.
