Integration into working life

For more than 20 years, the Anton Paar Group has been employing people with disabilities in cooperation with Alpha Nova. They work in areas such as cleaning or delivering components to assembly. This enables the employees to live their own lives as an integrated part of society and to have a structured daily routine.

Project goal and participation

Cooperation for over 20 years

For over 20 years, people with disabilities have had the opportunity to pursue regular employment within the Anton Paar Group. Anton Paar GmbH was one of the first companies to enter into such a cooperation with Alpha Nova.

Employment for people with disabilities

People with disabilities find employment at Anton Paar GmbH and Anton Paar ShapeTec as full members of the workforce. They work in areas such as cleaning, waste separation, maintenance of outdoor facilities, delivering components to assembly, or supporting the production and preparation of snack products.

Structured working day

The working day provides participants with a clear structure, including fixed working hours and vacation days. The aim is to integrate them into working life like all other employees.

Further development of the sheltered workshop model

Company-based work groups are considered a further development of the model of the traditional sheltered workshop, where people with disabilities may find employment but remain separated from society.

Remuneration in the form of pocket money

Through their work in the companies of the Anton Paar Group, participants earn pocket money that they can freely use.

Support through job coaches

During their work in the company, participants are supported by job coaches. They help with carrying out tasks and ensure that work goals are well planned and that participants can learn new things. In addition, individual training or mentoring is available.
